Cookies Policy

This page explains which browser storage mechanisms Speble relies on.
Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small files saved by your browser. Alongside them browsers provide local storage (localStorage) and the IndexedDB database — Speble primarily uses these two.
What we use
- Essential (technical) — your chosen theme (
speble-theme), your language choice (NEXT_LOCALE), your sign-in session (stored in localStorage when you use an account) and reader data: uploaded books, progress and settings. The app cannot work properly without them. - Analytics and marketing cookies — we do not use any. The Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights tools described in the Privacy Policy are cookieless. If this ever changes, we will update this page and — where required — ask for consent.
How to manage
You can remove locally stored data in your browser settings (clear site data) or directly in the app. Disabling local storage may make the reader unusable.
